Hey Moms! Sure hope you are enjoying this Easter Sunday with those you love. As I sit here with a belly full of great food, I'm feeling very thankful for the messages of faith, love, and hope. Faith in that which is bigger than self, love because He first loved us, and hope because of the cross. Some might consider hope one of the most powerful forces in the universe. It is not only an emotion or feeling, it is a virtue-moral excellence. Because of this, hope must be cultivated, especially when times are tough. It is our source of courage. Remember...suffering, pain, and death are not our end. In fact, the Bible teaches that the greater the sufffering, the greater the power of hope. Incredible, right? When we are going through life's most despairing times, let's not stop at simply feeling hopeful, let's put it to work. Hope is our personal power tool for busting through despair, gloom and doom. Even in the greatest moment of despair the world had ever seen, it was not the end! I'm thankful for the hope I have in all the greater things to come. Death did not get the last word for Jesus and doesn't for me either. How about you?
